A horizontal field unfolds like modular skin: three bands of semi-circular pieces, repeated with discipline and slight differences, construct a grid that reads at once as wall and as score. Each unit functions as a hinged tongue; its lower edge, slightly separated, opens a line of shadow that animates the whole and lifts it off the plane.

Light settles on a range of limy whites, very pale greys and sands, with a granular vibration that recalls the porosity of limewash. At the point of contact between modules, a blue-black band appears—verticalised and at intervals denser—acting as joint or seam: it does not merely delimit, but suggests depth, like a damp stratum surfacing beneath the light layer.

On the upper arcs of the flaps, an earthy, rusted stippling introduces a deliberate wear, almost saline, that softens the geometry without deactivating it. The profile confirms a construction by adhesion: folds, overlaps and superimposed layers generate a contained relief, where the fine shadow—shifting with the angle—completes the sensation of a slow, architectural and maritime rhythm.
