As if it were a narrow slab extracted from a wall, the work concentrates its structure in a central groove that runs the full height. That dark axis, irregular and densified, does not only divide: it sutures. On either side, two adjacent territories are distinguished by nuances of lime and sand, with a right-hand zone more whitened, almost eroded, where the material seems to have been washed by successive glazes.

Against the still field, four horizontal accents in cobalt blue emerge, two at mid-height and two in the lower half. They are brief strokes, applied with a certain load and a lively edge, which interrupt the verticality without cancelling it: they function as points of orientation, like small measuring bars that set a discreet rhythm.

The pictorial skin is defined by a fine-grained porosity and bubbling, with speckling and minute coagulations that catch the light in a matte manner. Along the edge, a stratified construction is evident: the rigid support carries slight steps and adhered edges that cast fine shadows. Light, settling on those joins, activates a restrained relief and turns the surface into an architecture of touch, where each layer retains the memory of the assembly.
