Foam Grid
A grid of chalky modules opens into dark intervals, where minimal relief turns light into breathing and measure.

Like a constructive panel, the composition is organised into a regular grid of softly cut modules, like limestone pieces repeated with slight variations. Between them, a dark band appears intermittently, creating a horizontal pulse that alternates presence and absence; this deep black does not dominate, but acts as a void, as a vent that renders the system legible. The pale perimeter, integrated as a margin, contains the vibration without fully closing the surface.
The palette remains within a range of off-whites, warm greys and ash veils, with small bluish incidences and occasional ochres caught in the grain. Light, rather than illuminating, comes to rest: it slips over the smoothed areas, lingers in the cellular porosity and darkens in the interstices, where the pigment becomes more compact.
The relief, visible in profile, is born of collage: edges, flaps and joins form a low architecture that casts fine shadows. The surface alternates lightly sanded layers with areas of foamy texture, as if matter had coagulated and been fixed in place. This combination of module, joint and skin turns the work into a silent object, to be read slowly and through touch.
