Between two narrow bodies, the work sets out a diptych with a silent rhythm, in which the gaze rises without abrupt interruptions. Each panel contains a denser central field, shaped by a mesh of pores and grains, and a cool, whitish lateral margin that functions as breathing space. The separation between the two elements acts as an interval: it does not divide, but calibrates distance, reinforcing an architectural reading, almost like a wall surface.

The palette is sustained by off-whites and calcareous greys, traversed by an earthy presence that surfaces from within the texture. That ochre, far from asserting itself, appears as a revealed ground: it peeks out in cavities, eroded edges and small concentrations that evoke a slow oxidation. Light settles on the high points of the relief and sinks into the alveoli, generating a minimal yet constant chiaroscuro.

In detail, the surface behaves like a foamy skin: a constellation of solidified bubbles, tiny craters and compacted clumps. The material seems to have been applied in layers, then glazed and lightly worn, so that the time of the process remains inscribed in the porosity. The result is tactile and serene, with a mineral vibration that sustains contemplation.
