Across both panels, a single rhythm is sustained, as if the skin of the work had been divided to strengthen its breathing. A sequence of slightly undulating vertical tabs runs through the diptych from top to bottom; their repetition generates a steady metre which nevertheless remains alive through small variations in edge and curvature. Two dark lines traverse the whole horizontally, like joints or seams that fix the reading into three registers.

The palette remains restrained: chalky whites, pale greys and muted earths. On that base, a fine ochre and reddish spatter disperses with uneven density, leaving clearer zones where the light seems to settle and others warmer, where the grain introduces vibration. The black joints, with a thick body and a bubbling texture, contrast without stridency and function as visual anchors.

The profile confirms its object-like condition: each fold lifts away from the plane and casts a narrow shadow, shifting with the lighting. That relief, more architectural than gestural, turns the surface into a tactile experience: wall, blind and swell are suggested within the same silent register.
