No image asserts itself here, but an order: two twin panels, joined as a diptych, are divided into a grid of twelve pieces in which each module acts as a unit of measure. In each cell, a pale plate opens like a flap; its raised edge generates a fine shadow that makes the time of construction visible and turns the whole into a breathing wall.

The composition is activated by the dark joints, drawn like crosspieces that separate and at once relate the modules. Those black bands, dense and matt, function as pauses: they interrupt continuity and sustain the rhythmic reading from left to right. In two columns, a narrow red line runs along the vertical axis; it appears as a contained pulse, sufficient to tense the calm without altering it.

The palette remains within lime whites, ash greys and honeyed earths. Across the pale fields, splatter and mineral grain leave a porous skin; at the sides, a texture of dark and whitish “cells” densifies the plane, while a central earthy strip suggests sediment. Light settles on the reliefs and sinks into the grooves, making of volume a silent writing.
